Jessica Reva, MS, CCC-SLP

As a pediatric speech language pathologist, I am here to help you and your child improve on speech, language, and feeding skills. I work with your child’s primary care doctor and other medical professionals, as well as teachers, to meet your child’s needs.

I received my Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders from Texas Christian University in the Spring of 2005 followed by my Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from The University of Texas at Dallas in the Fall of 2006. After graduation, I started at Children’s Health working in the outpatient and acute care settings. I continued for the next 4 years developing a passion for patients with feeding and swallowing disorders and started to really focus on pediatric patients demonstrating difficulties with eating and swallowing.

In Spring of 2011, I moved into the home health setting and began working at Therapy 2000 where I developed a love for working with patients in their home environment. After 2 years in home health, Children’s asked me to rejoin the team and help build a home health agency. I spent 4 years in an operational role building a wonderful program offering therapy (PT, OT, and speech), skilled nursing, and home medical equipment to pediatric patients in their home and community setting. I have been a certified member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association since Spring of 2006 and I have been a member of the Feeding and Swallowing special interest group as well.

With all that experience, my love for children who have developmental delays and feeding delays, my desire to support their families, and the amazing help from my husband, I was ready for a new adventure. In March of 2017, I started Speech and Feeding of Frisco as a private practice helping children get the services they need in a relaxed setting.

Now, I am excited to launch Across Health Home Care in 2019 to expand the services offered to include nursing and additional therapy services!  With my 8+ years of management and operational experience I have found I love building up employees.  I alone can help 10 kids.  But if I help 10 employees help 10 kids, then I have helped 100 kids.  My goal for this company is to open my heart to where The Lord needs us to go and be a shining light for those that need it.

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on earth.” Psalm 46:10

In my spare time, I love to watch my daughter dancing around the house and my twin boys playing any sport with a ball. We have a sweet cat and dog. Our family volunteers at church every Sunday and look for other opportunities to serve in our community. I look forward to getting to know you and your child.

Patient and Family Testimonials

“Jessica asked great questions to understand my concerns and learn more about my daughter. She did a thorough assessment and provided me with immediate results I was easily able to understand. She provided me with written instructions on how to better help my child and provided a clear plan of what to do next. I am so thankful for all her help!”

“As parents we always want to give our children the best opportunities and I feel like Jessica is doing that and providing my son the best tools so that he can communicate to the best of his ability. Jessica is not only an excellent speech therapist but a great mom and wife and it shows through in her sessions … any mom of twin boys has to have patience of gold!”

“Thank you so much to Jessica for her help with my son. He asks to see her and can’t wait until his next session. We have already noticed great improvement with his eating and couldn’t be happier!”
