What do I need to work for Across Health?
- Belief in our Core Values and Mission
- Meet requirements of the job description with a minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience
- Have reliable transportation
- Have a device for charting (Example: Phone, Laptop or iPad)
What to expect during the interview process?
- Participate in a phone interview with the director/administrator
- Attend an in-person interview to be held at a location convenient for you or at the Across Health Home Care office
- Complete the written general pediatric competency test (Nursing only)
- Complete clinical competency test on a simulation doll (Nursing only)
- Complete a drug test
- Provide copy of current licensure, BLS card, drivers license and car insurance
- Provide information for a background check
- Provide references to be checked by Across Health
What happens when I become a team member?
- Sign up for direct deposit payments
- Receive training in our electronic health record system, Kantime
- Review Across Health Home Care policies online
- Watch educational video resources online
- Fill out appropriate paperwork (W-4 or I-9) for employment
- Will be matched to a family
- Accompanied by director of nursing to the first visit in the home
- Will be provided the supplies and resources to do my job
