What do I need to work for Across Health?

  • Meet requirements of the job description with a minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have a device for charting (Example: Phone, Laptop or iPad)

What to expect during the interview process?

  • Participate in a phone interview with the director/administrator
  • Attend an in-person interview to be held at a location convenient for you or at the Across Health Home Care office
  • Complete the written general pediatric competency test (Nursing only)
  • Complete clinical competency test on a simulation doll (Nursing only)
  • Complete a drug test
  • Provide copy of current licensure, BLS card, drivers license and car insurance
  • Provide information for a background check
  • Provide references to be checked by Across Health

What happens when I become a team member?

  • Sign up for direct deposit payments
  • Receive training in our electronic health record system, Kantime
  • Review Across Health Home Care policies online
  • Watch educational video resources online
  • Fill out appropriate paperwork (W-4 or I-9) for employment
  • Will be matched to a family
  • Accompanied by director of nursing to the first visit in the home
  • Will be provided the supplies and resources to do my job
